October 4, 2026 — Listening Lab release

• Added a listening notebook with timestamped observations, separate first-listen and replay fields, explicit local saving, JSON restore, text export and printing.
• Added a ranking workbench with manual reordering, paired comparisons, reasons, local saving and CSV, text and JSON exports. Sixteen article shortlists supply titles, not audience statistics.
• Replaced repeated closing expansions in 30 archive articles with a more concise reading path. Original reviews, rankings and URLs remain available.
• Reworked the first-listen guide, review worksheet and Nirvana album guide. Added the cover-comparison worksheet and edition-identification checklist.
• Corrected an earlier fourteen-song reference in the Suffer review; the band’s album page lists fifteen.
• Updated the search catalog, article navigation and storage disclosures. The two writing workspaces do not load the advertising tag.

Scope of this record

New explanatory worked examples are labelled fictional. This update does not establish that every listening opinion or historical assertion in the older archive has been independently re-verified. A functioning page and a verified music fact are different checks.
