About me
I am Matt Mars, an independent musician, game developer and the owner-editor of Zorvanu. I created the journal to publish the kind of music writing I use myself: direct reviews, ranked listening routes and guides that give a reader a clear place to begin.
Creative background
I also make music and build independent games. Working on songs and interactive projects makes me especially attentive to hooks, arrangement, repetition, character themes and the way sound creates a visual world. It also means that I understand how much work can sit behind a short recording.
Education and technical work
I graduated from Yakutsk College of Innovative Technologies in Information Systems and Programming. My technical work includes C#, Godot, Unity, Android publishing and static web development. My games, music and portfolio work are collected at mattmars.art.
How I edit Zorvanu
I choose the subjects, review the final wording, maintain the website and handle correction requests. Software can help organize research, improve grammar and test code, but I remain responsible for the accuracy, usefulness and opinion expressed on every published page.
Transparency
Any personal, professional or financial connection to a subject is disclosed where readers can see it before evaluating the article. Advertising, reader support and promotional submissions do not buy favorable reviews or ranking positions.
