Zorvanu is a static independent music journal. It does not require an account, run public comments or sell personal information. This page explains the limited information that may be processed when you read the site, contact the editor or follow a link to an external service.
Information you choose to send
If you email the editor, the message, address and any files you include are used to answer your request, consider a correction or handle a rights question. Do not send sensitive information that is not needed for the request.
Hosting and security logs
The hosting and security providers may process an IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, device information and access time to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems. Zorvanu does not operate a user-profile database.
Google AdSense and advertising cookies
Zorvanu may display advertising supplied through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to Zorvanu and other sites on the internet.
Visitors can review or opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Information about how Google processes data on partner sites is available in Google’s partner-sites notice. Choices relating to participating third-party advertising companies may also be available through YourAdChoices.
Consent messages
Where required, advertising consent is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform configured in Google AdSense Privacy & messaging. The message and available regional choices depend on the published account configuration. A local-draft save button is not consent to advertising.
On pages where Google's message API is available, an “Advertising privacy choices” control appears in the footer to reopen the applicable message. If it is unavailable or blocked, refer to Google Ads Settings and your browser's site-data controls. The tool workspaces do not load the advertising tag.
Spotify links and external media
Articles use ordinary outbound Spotify links rather than embedded players. Spotify receives no request merely because a Zorvanu page loads; after a reader opens a link, Spotify’s own privacy terms apply.
Listening tools and local browser storage
The listening notebook and ranking workbench process the fields and imported JSON files in your browser. The tool code does not upload these inputs, request audio or microphone access, connect to a streaming account, or publish a result. The two tool pages do not include advertising scripts or analytics.
Nothing is saved automatically. Clicking “Save on this device” stores one notebook or one ranking under zorvanu.notebook.v1 or zorvanu.ranking.v1 in localStorage for this website origin. Saving again replaces that tool's previous draft. “Delete saved copy” removes it. Browser site-data controls can also clear it.
Local drafts are not synchronised or guaranteed backups. Private browsing, storage restrictions and clearing browser data can make them unavailable. Export JSON for a portable backup; exported files stay where your browser saves them. Do not enter passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.

Links to Spotify, artist pages, source material, PayPal, Telegram and other websites lead to services controlled by their respective operators. Their privacy practices apply after you leave Zorvanu.
